---------- Fundraisers ----------

Thanks to the great effort by former President Richard Rumohr who searched far and wide for a dozen unique historic views of East Granby from around the turn of the last century; we have now available a collectible Year 2000 Calendar. This is a limited edition and will be sold at the very reasonable rate of only $6.00 each. The Year 2000 Calendars may be ordered by mail (P.O. Box 188) or from any member of the Society; or purchased at the Town Clerks Office at Town Hall, at the Library and at several businesses in town. This is the Society's primary fundraiser this year and we hope members will support and promote it by ordering several calendars and giving them to their relatives as Christmas gifts.

Barn Book

This year the Society will publish a history of East Granby's barns and the farmers who used them over the years.  Prepared by Ted Holly and Betty Guinan, the illustrated book will give the reader a street by street tour of the barns that were part of East Granby's one prosperous agricultural community.

Concord Stage Coach

Our Concord Coach has been servicing customers for 150 years.  Proudly displayed in the Memorial Day Parade for the last two years, members of the Historical Society continue to study and learn about Concords and the men who built, owned and drove them.  Preservation, restoration and display of this fine example of " living history" continues to be a top priority for our Society.
